For over four hundred years, vampires ruled the tiny town of Cruor Ridge. Only then it was unnamed, and the vampires hunted whatever humans would come close to their kind. They lurked beyond the forests, untouched, for many years. That is until they realized how important it was to interact with the mortals. It was necessary for survival of their race. Their numbers were dwindling. The population of the small town had grown, leaving them with little to worry about, if their secret was kept. Slowly, more vampires were joining the small group. Some had even been the mortals themselves. And the secret was still kept, as it is today. The two races live in nearly perfect harmony. Many of the students are catching on though, and seem to be aware of the vampires’ existence. No specific people are known to be the outsiders, but they’re on the brink of revealing who they are simply because they can‘t keep the secret themselves anymore. Mortals, beware of your neighbors. Do not let them deceive you.
